About Oxyfen

Strengthening Businesses and the People Who Lead It

Oxyfen exists to support organisations navigating growth, pressure, transition and complexity by strengthening both the visible business systems and the human systems beneath them.

The Oxyfen Philosophy

Every Organisation Operates on Two Levels

The first is the visible organisation: strategy, systems, structures, financial performance, products, services and operational outcomes.

The second is the human system operating beneath it. This includes leadership behaviour, communication, trust, culture, relationships, decision-making, and an organisation’s ability to navigate pressure and change.

Most businesses invest heavily in improving the visible organisation while overlooking the human system that ultimately determines whether strategy succeeds.

At Oxyfen, we believe sustainable growth occurs when leadership, people, culture and execution evolve together.

Organisational challenges rarely exist in isolation. Strategic priorities, leadership capability, communication dynamics, operational execution and human behaviour are deeply interconnected.

Our work helps organisations strengthen both systems so they can scale with greater clarity, resilience, alignment and long-term effectiveness.

Strategic Advisory

An Integrated Advisory Model for Complex Organisations

Oxyfen combines strategic advisory, leadership development, executive coaching, organisational development, leadership psychology and organisational alignment into one integrated advisory model.

Our work is structured but never formulaic. While many organisational patterns repeat across industries, every engagement is shaped around the realities of the organisation itself.

Why Oxyfen Exists

Organisations Rarely Struggle Because of Strategy Alone

Oxyfen was founded on a simple observation: organisations rarely struggle because of strategy alone.

More often, growth begins to slow when leadership pressure increases, communication becomes fragmented, decision-making loses clarity, or organisational systems can no longer support the demands being placed upon them.

Through their work with leaders, executive teams, boards and organisations navigating growth, acquisitions, transformation and complexity, John Barnes and Naomi Holdt recognised a recurring pattern.

Sustainable performance requires more than commercial strategy, leadership development or organisational psychology in isolation. It requires an integrated approach that strengthens both the business and the people responsible for leading it.

Oxyfen was created to provide that integration.

Co-Founder | Leadership & Organisational Development

Naomi Holdt

Naomi Holdt is a clinical and organisational psychologist specialising in leadership under pressure, organisational dynamics, executive functioning, communication systems and human behaviour within complex organisations.

Her work focuses on helping leaders and organisations understand behavioural patterns, leadership blind spots, organisational communication breakdowns, conflict avoidance, executive pressure responses, psychological safety within teams and leadership capability development.

Naomi works closely with CEOs and leadership teams to strengthen the human systems required to support sustainable organisational performance.

Her work bridges:

leadership psychology, executive coaching, organisational development, leadership communication, emotional intelligence and behavioural transformation without disconnecting these dynamics from commercial reality.

Why The Partnership Works

Strategic Execution Meets Leadership Psychology

Oxyfen’s strength lies in the integration between strategic execution and leadership psychology.

John and Naomi operate from different disciplines while solving the same organisational challenges from complementary perspectives. This allows Oxyfen to address strategic complexity, operational execution, leadership behaviour, organisational dynamics, human capability, communication systems and sustainable organisational growth as interconnected realities rather than isolated problems.
